Our Mission

Our Mission is to make a meaningful difference in the institutional life of the organizations we serve by placing the right people in the right organizations, and to be of genuine and discernible service to those in the nonprofit sector.

“To leave the world a bit better because you have lived.  This is to have succeeded.”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

What We Do

The Search Counsel was established in 1999, and incorporated in 2003.  We work exclusively in the non-profit sector.  Our primary focus is on enhancing fundraising operations through executive search, professional coaching, and cross-cultural relationship building and White Label Forex.

The Search Counsel meticulously works with its clients to attain an in-depth understanding of their culture, operations, and collaborative relationships before initiating a search.  The Search Counsel conscientiously takes on searches only with well-functioning organizations and institutions.

The President of The Search Counsel is always the primary client contact and meets with all selected potential candidates at least twice before introducing them to our client organizations.   We have a 100 percent rate of success.

The Search Counsel also works with people on a one -to-one basis to better understand how they take up their organization role, and to look at the kinds of projections they elicit.

Where We Work

The organizations/institutions we serve are mostly from the tri-state area:  New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey but our candidates are found throughout the world.
